About Us

KCMB Microfinance Bank Limited (formerly kown as Kwara Commercial Microfinance Bank Limited) is a Public/Private Sector partnership between the Kwara State government and private sector investors with the aim of providing financial services to the low-income, micro and small enterprises in Kwara state.

The bank aims particularly to support activities particularly in the agriculture, agro-allied, production, processing, manufacturing and services sectors of the local economy, thus filling the gaps that currently exist in financial services delivery to the under-served markets. 

KCMB Microfinance Bank is set up to address poverty from grassroots level, through bringing Banking to the unBanked, previously shunned by commercial Banks because of the nature of their transactions which were considered risky, and too small for the size of the Commercial Banks. 

The Bank offers normal Banking services such as deposit and withdrawals. 

The Bank also gives out loans to micro, small and to a lesser extent medium enterprises. Credit Operations are currently within Kwara State (Ilorin), with plans to establish branches across the state.
